Suzan Rood Wilson, M.A.

Suzan Rood Wilson is a Jungian Analyst and Psychotherapist located in the West Seattle area of Seattle, Washington. Suzan is a member of the North Pacific Institute for Analytical Psychology (NPIAP), which is a member organization of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).

Suzan strongly believes that experience is the road to understanding. C.G. Jung, who was the founder of Analytical Psychology, based all of his writings and teachings on this similar principle. Suzan makes every effort to work with each patient's experiences, dreams, synchronicities and other manifestations of the Unconscious mind to help the person to make necessary life-changes, explore unique artistic expressions and help each individual to become who she or he has always been meant to become. Suzan also works with individuals who are experiencing a variety of life issues and difficulties, such as depression, relationship problems, job-related stresses, family-of-origin difficulties, and a host of other daily struggles that nearly all people experience at one time or another in life.

Suzan is certified by many INSURANCE companies to pay for treatment for accepted diagnosable conditions (DSM-IV) and can provide psychotherapy services for those conditions.

Suzan's office is inviting and comfortable and is located in the North Admiral area of West Seattle, with easy access from both I-5 and Hwy. 99.

Suzan has been licensed in Washington as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Mental Health Counselor since 1989. She also maintains her California Marriage, Family and Child Therapy license, which she received in 1980. Suzan has been a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) since 1980. Suzan maintains memberships with the C.G. Jung Society and the Jungian Psychotherapists Associaiton, both located in Seattle.
